Jen Kingwell's 6-inch Building Blocks is a set of acrylic templates that allow you to transform any simple 6-inch block (finished size) into an impressive 9-inch block. You can place the blocks either straight or on their points.

The templates include a ¼" seam allowance and work for both hand and machine piecing, adding complexity and visual interest to your quilts. It's a handy tool for turning simple 6-inch blocks into impressive 9-inch blocks, or for incorporating your orphan blocks.
